About Are you a student or recent graduate? Now’s your chance to start your Make It Bright journey and level up to unlock the ultimate experience in Hamburg! Ready? Take on the interactive challenges on Instagram, collect bonus points, and climb the leaderboard. The higher your score, the closer you get to local interviews and landing a spot in our Graduate Program! A 12-month traineeship in your country to kickstart your career at JTI - with endless opportunities to learn and grow in an international environment! Make It Bright is a challenge with the possibility to win a 12-month paid traineeship at JTI. The Challenge shall take place from October 1 st , 2026, to November 20 th , 2026, via the Make It Bright Challenge Instagram page available at www.instagram.com/makeitbrightchallenge Steps 1.Register 📲 The challenge goes live on Instagram. Follow @makeitbrightchallenge to be among the first to register. 2.Compete 🎮 Complete the 2 challenges by November 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM (GMT+1). Look out for the mini booster, a chance to earn bonus points. 3.Meet 🤝 Top participants from each country will have an interview with our local JTI teams for a chance to join our Graduate Program. 4.Start 🚀 Hired candidates will join our Graduate Program between February and March 2027. 5.Takeoff ✈️ The top 25 trainees will head to Hamburg in May for an exciting week and join the OMR Festival! Who Can Join? The Challenge is intended for participants satisfying the conditions below and providing proof of eligibility. A participant is an eligible candidate who successfully completed the registration process via the Platform. 1. Participating countries: The final list of participating countries will be accessible at the Platform from the Starting Date (as defined above). Applicants shall only apply for the country in which they live and have a valid work permit. Once the application to the Challenge has been submitted, Participants cannot change the country in which they have registered for, for whatever reason. 2. Age & studies: Applicants must be at least 21 years old and either: hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) or be on track to earn a bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) by January 2027. 3. Employment status: Applicants must have no more than two (2) years of full-time employment experience. Internships, apprenticeships, and summer job experiences do not count towards full-time employment. 4. Relation to JTI and/or its affiliates and/or Service provider: At any time during the Challenge, Participants cannot be current or past JTI employees. 5. Knowledge of English language and travelling: Applicants should be able to understand, read, write and communicate in English without difficulties. Applicants should be open to and available for global travel (either short-term or long-term) as may be required during the Challenge. 6. Instagram account: There is only one (1) entry per person per Challenge. An account is individual and not transferable. A Participant cannot create an account on the Platform on behalf of a third party, nor use an account of another Participant. Schedule & Interview Process The Schedule 🗓️ STEPS START DATE END DATE Step 1: The Challenge October 1st, 2026 November 20th, 2026 Step 2: Selection & Hiring November 25th, 2026 January 15th, 2027 Step 3: Start of JTI’s Graduate Program February/March 2027 12 months from the start date The Final Event May 2027 May 20 The Challenge participation period runs from October 1st to November 20th, 2026. Activities related to selection, recruitment, and the final round will continue through May 2027, as detailed below. Interview Process Step 1: If you're in your market's top participants, you will receive an email inviting you to interview with the JTI team of your registered country. You'll meet with P&C team from your local country as well as your possible future manager. Step 2: The top participant from each country will be hired for a 12 month traineeship. Step 3: The top 25 participants from all the hired candidates will go to the Final Event in Hamburg. The final results will be shared with you via email.
